School of Professional and Continuing Education

Established in 2006, School of Professional and Continuing Education aims to advance the socio-economic development of Central Asia, especially its mountain regions, by delivering programmes that improve the livelihoods, and educational mobility of a broad spectrum of learners.

The SPCE offers internationally benchmarked training and certificate programmes in accounting; business management; applied languages; IT; university preparatory programme and mental math for school children; local governance; public administration; executive trainings and vocational trades.

Summary of Position:

The Outreach Coordinator will report to the Head of SPCE Kazakhstan and work in harmony and close cooperation with all other personnel of the University. The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing outreach initiatives to enhance the SPCE Tekeli visibility, and launching the outreach intakes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes outreach strategies to connect with target audiences
  • Organizes and attends community events, workshops, and meetings to promote the organization
  • Identifies and responds to the educational needs of the region.
  • Ensures compliance with the pre-approved SPCE Academic Schedule.
  • Coordinates with local and national governments, industry, and other stakeholders in education-related areas.
  • Ensures timely reporting on outreach programs and documents required by Country Head, SPCE Kazakhstan.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • One to three years of work experience in an academic area
  • Knowledge of English, Russian, and Kazakh languages is required.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs, Internet, and E-mail.
